Redfish Lake Engagement Photo + Video Session in Idaho’s Majestic Sawtooth Mountains

This engagement shoot with Shawn and Madi was a culmination of everything I love – stunning mountains, genuine love, and a desire for adventure.

Redfish Lake is nestled in the awe-inspiring Sawtooth mountains – a place reminiscent of the nature documentaries I watched as a child. Shawn and Madi are an amazing couple that share my passion for the outdoors and so clearly adore each other. The entire shoot was natural and effortless. We were in a place we love, doing what we love. We all felt at home. Take a look at their adventure film below!

When I started doing weddings, I began with traditional weddings, and I loved it! It’s fulfilling to capture one of the happiest moments of people’s lives as they celebrate their love for one another. But my passion for the outdoors never left the back of my mind. How could I incorporate my love for working with couples and my love for the mountains? Since moving to Idaho this year, I’ve had the opportunity to do just that and I’ve never been happier! It was an honor to capture Shawn and Madi enjoying a day enjoying the things they love in a place they hold dear. They skipped rocks, cracked open a brewski, and watched the beautiful sunset together. We had so much fun and it will forever be a shoot to remember!

Afterwards we got pizza together and talked about life before making our way home. This was definitely one of my favorite shoots, and I absolutely cannot wait to do more like this!
